Nursing Care

Sunrise boasts a team of fully-qualified carers, who are onsite 24 hours per day. Qualified nurses are on call 24 hours a day to provide every level of personal and nursing assistance in the resident’s own home, where required.

Sunrise residents choose and only pay for,  the level of nursing care they require.  Sunrise offers an extensive range of 'in-home' nursing services that ensures all of the various needs of an aged resident are met. They include –

• assistance with medications

• wound and skin care

• nutritional monitoring. (Provision of suitable diets and eating plans for diabetes sufferers and coeliacs; as well as other specialised conditions)

• Constant monitoring of regular health checks. (Constant monitoring of your health and wellbeing)

• arranging visits from doctors and other medical professionals

• injections

• catheter care

• palliative in-home care

• treatment regimes

• Qualified nurse available when required

24 hour Emergency Response under pins our care System. The peace of mind that is afforded to residents and their families is unmeasurable. The rapid response emergency buttons in all bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as pendant alarms creates a feeling of protection at all times. If required, this emergency system can include Dementia Care features as well, (not available at all communities).
